DMCA Policy
Business Toolbox ("we", "us") respects the intellectual property of others and expects the agencies that use HighLevel Theme Studio ("Theme Studio") to do the same. This policy explains how we respond to claims that content stored in a Theme Studio theme infringes copyright, following the notice-and-takedown process of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).
1. What content this covers
Theme Studio lets a license holder upload a logo, a browser icon and images into their theme. That content is stored inside the license holder's own theme, under their own GoHighLevel agency, and is shown only on the white-label domain bound to their license. Business Toolbox does not review uploads before they are used; under our Terms and Conditions the license holder is responsible for the content of their themes and confirms they have the right to use it. This policy also covers the text, images and design of this website.
2. Filing a copyright notice
If you believe content in a Theme Studio theme, or on this website, infringes a copyright you own or are authorised to act for, send us a written notice that includes all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature, or that of a person authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or a representative list if several works are covered by one notice).
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing and enough information for us to locate it: the white-label domain where the theme appears (for example app.someagency.com), where in the interface the content is shown (for example the login page logo), and a screenshot if you have one.
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
3. Where to send it
Send notices to our designated copyright agent:
Business Toolbox
Attn: Copyright Agent
Email: support@businesstoolbox.io
Subject line: "DMCA Notice"
Please use this address only for copyright notices and counter-notices. Support questions sent here will be slower to answer than questions sent through the normal support address with a normal subject line.
4. What we do with a valid notice
- We review the notice promptly and may ask you for anything that is missing from the list above.
- If the notice is complete, we remove or disable access to the identified material in the theme. The rest of the license holder's theme keeps working; only the identified asset is cleared.
- We tell the license holder what was removed and why, and provide them with a copy of your notice, including your contact details, so they can respond.
- We keep a record of the notice and our actions for as long as the license exists.
5. Counter-notice
If you are a license holder and believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you can send our copyright agent a counter-notice that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the place it appeared before removal (the white-label domain and the part of the interface).
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, postal address and telephone number, a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the district in which your address is located (or, if outside the United States, any district in which Business Toolbox may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice or their agent.
We forward a complete counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice. If we do not receive notice within 10 business days that they have filed a court action to restrain the alleged infringement, we may restore the material between 10 and 14 business days after receiving the counter-notice.
6. Repeat infringers
We may suspend or end the license of any customer who is the subject of repeated valid copyright notices, in line with our Terms and Conditions. Purchases are not refunded when a license is ended for this reason.
7. Misrepresentation
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and legal fees. We may reject notices or counter-notices that are incomplete, and we may decline to act on a notice that appears to be sent in bad faith.
8. Trademarks and website content
"HighLevel" and "GoHighLevel" are trademarks of HighLevel Inc. Theme Studio is not made by, endorsed by, or affiliated with HighLevel Inc.; the names are used only to identify the platform Theme Studio works with. The Business Toolbox and HighLevel Theme Studio names, the Business Toolbox logo, and the text, images and design of this website belong to Business Toolbox and may not be used without our written consent. Trademark concerns can be sent to the same agent address with the subject line "Trademark Notice".
9. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above. The version published on this page at the time a notice is sent is the one that applies to it.
